Job summary

Reitmans Canada Limited is seeking a Team Lead for our Penn. Penningtons location to collaborate with management and inspire the team to deliver an outstanding customer experience. With leadership and hands-on style, you will create a vibrant, organized, and customer-focused store environment.

You will guide day-to-day operations, uphold policies, recruit and train staff, and ensure merchandise presentation meets brand standards. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of leadership or supervisory experience in retail or customer-focused environment.
• Ability to motivate, support, and guide a team toward goals.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with a welcoming shopping experience.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of store operations including scheduling, cash management, merchandising, and inventory flow.
• Passion for fashion and knowledge of fashion trends.
• Proficient in POS, ERP, ATS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexible availability; evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support store performance by contributing to sales goals and KPIs.
• Assist with day-to-day operations including policies, loss prevention, opening/closing, cash management, reporting, and scheduling.
• Maintain high merchandising and visual presentation standards.
• Coach and develop the team through training and feedback.
• Promote effective communication with the Store Manager to align priorities.
• Collaborate with management to ensure swift execution of action plans.
• Model a customer-first mindset by leading on the sales floor and resolving concerns.

Job Description

As a Team Lead, you will collaborate with the management team to keep operations running smoothly and inspire the team to deliver an outstanding customer experience. Key Responsibilities

• Support store performanceby contributing to the achievement of sales goals and ensuring alignment with company objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Assist with day-to-day operations, including compliance with policies and procedures, loss prevention, opening and closing routines, cash management, report generation, and scheduling support.
• Maintain high standards of merchandising and visual presentationto ensure a clean, consistent, and welcoming environment that enhances the customer experience.
• Coach and develop the teamthrough ongoing training and constructive feedback to strengthen skills, confidence, and overall performance.
• Promote effective communicationwith the Store Manager to ensure alignment, smooth operations, and timely execution of priorities.
• Collaborate closely with the management teamto ensure aligned priorities, effective communication, and the swift execution of action plans.
• Model a customer-first mindsetby leading on the sales floor, resolving customer concerns, and ensuring every interaction reflects our service standards.

• High school diploma required.
