The Team Lead works closely with the Operations Manager to ensure the support needs of the individuals residing in the assigned homes and community settings are exceeded. The Team Lead contributes to ensuring the environment is safe, high quality service delivery, the daily administrative requirements of operating services are met. The role contributes directly to the experience of the individuals supported by CBI Home Health's Specialized Community Services.
- The schedule for this position is 8:30am - 4:30pm Thursday to Monday**
Your role
As a Team Lead, You Will
- Implement and monitor individual treatment and behaviour support plans in collaboration with clinical teams.
- Coach and support staff in adaptive skill development, behaviour management, and personal care.
- Promote client independence and quality of life through daily living, recreation, and meal planning.
- Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their preferences, needs, and support goals.
- Oversee day-to-day operations including safety checks, maintenance, cleanliness, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Coordinate emergency and on-call support as needed, ensuring adherence to care and safety protocols.
- Ensure all incident and individual documentation is completed and accurate.
- Support performance reviews, fidelity checks, and clinical onboarding procedures for Direct Support Specialists.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
To take on the role of Team Lead, you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree, diploma or advanced certification in relevant area.
- Experience/knowledge of working with clients with intellectual/mental disabilities, or those suffering from traumatic brain injuries.
- Experience/knowledge of working with clients with alcohol and drug dependencies.
- Experience/knowledge of working with clients with behavioural issues, or those who have challenging disabilities such as Autism and ADHD.
- Ability to meet conditions of employment including but not limited to: active Standard First Aid/CPR (Standard or level C is preferred), clear TB test, a clear Security Clearance including Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- Fluent English Skills in verbal, reading and written communication that meets the job requirement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, and the ability to learn new programs specific to the business.

Salary Range: $50,000–$55,000
