Job summary

First Nations University of Canada invites applications for a Teaching Assistant/Marker for INSW 447 S50 on the Saskatoon Campus for Fall 2026. You will support students with assignments and exam preparation, and collaborate with the instructor on academic matters.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education is required.
Superior communication skills (written and verbal).
Excellent Organizational Skills.
Be a self-motivator who can work to achieve results while ensuring attention to detail and compliance with reporting requirements.
Access to internet and able to navigate online educational software.

Responsibilities

Provide support to students working on assignments.
Provide support to students in preparation for midterms and final exams.
Consult and work with the instructor on academic or student related matters and undertake other duties as assigned.
Set up videoconferencing equipment when required.
Invigilate students during exams and other course work.
Assist instructor with marking assignments.
Maintain a positive learning environment in the classroom.
