Job summary

First Nations University of Canada is establishing a Teaching Assistant/Marker Talent Pool for INHS 100 courses offered in Fall 2026 and Winter 2027. Roles may be contacted for term opportunities at Regina, Saskatoon, and Prince Albert campuses.

Responsibilities include supporting students with assignments, preparing for exams, coordinating with instructors, and ensuring a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education is required.
• Superior communication skills (written and verbal).
• Excellent Organizational Skills.
• Be a self-motivator who can work to achieve results while ensuring attention to detail and compliance with reporting requirements.
• Access to internet and able to navigate online educational software.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to students working on assignments.
• Provide support to students in preparation for midterms and final exams.
• Consult and work with the instructor on academic or student related matters and undertake other duties as assigned.
• Arrange community activities.
• Set up videoconferencing equipment when required.
• Invigilate students during exams and other course work.
• Maintain a positive learning environment in the classroom.
