Location: CDI College, Calgary – Northeast Campus, Alberta
Compensation: $22–$23 per hour
Job Type: Ongoing Part-Time (25-30 hours per week)
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key support role in delivering high-quality instruction and a great student experience in our Social Media and Web Marketing courses. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting instructors with content delivery and classroom management
Supporting students with assignments, tools, and platforms commonly used in digital marketing
Evaluating student performance under instructor guidance, ensuring fair and consistent assessment
Aiding in the setup and coordination of class materials, activities, and online learning tools
Contributing to administrative tasks that enhance the learning environment
Upholding the College’s academic and professional standards
Performing other duties as assigned
What You Bring to the Role
Education and Experience:
A diploma, degree, or certificate in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field
Experience with or interest in adult education is an asset
Familiarity with key tools and platforms used in digital marketing (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, WordPress, Hootsuite)
Skills and Abilities:
Practical understanding of social media strategy, content creation, SEO, and web marketing trends
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to support a diverse group of learners with professionalism and patience
Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn from and support instructors
Attention to detail and commitment to academic integrity and service excellence
Enthusiasm for digital trends and a growth mindset
Nice to Have:
Experience with learning management systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas)
Interest in pedagogical approaches and digital teaching tools
