Teacher of Biology / Biology ECT - Biology

In the heart of Brent, an 'Outstanding' Secondary School is seeking a Teacher of Biology / Science Teacher for a September 2025 start. This is a permanent, full-time position.

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Teacher of Biology / Science Teacher eager to contribute to an expanding Science Department. The school is known for its supportive SLT and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

The school invests heavily in education, pioneering new teaching practices and training both new and existing staff. It’s an exciting time at the school!

Experienced Science Teachers may take on TLR roles such as KS3 Coordinator or Pastoral Responsibilities. Early Careers Teachers (ECTs) will be enrolled in the school’s bespoke ECT induction program and will work alongside both young and experienced Science Teachers.

Person Specification

1. Must have UK QTS or be in the process of obtaining it
2. Strong academic record: Degree, A Levels, GCSEs
3. Meeting the 8 Teaching Standards at a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' level
4. Ability to work within a large team of Science Teachers
5. Willingness to accept feedback
