Business & Economics Teacher / ECT | Outstanding Secondary School | Brent

In the heart of Brent, an 'Outstanding' Secondary School is looking for a Business & Economics Teacher / ECT for a September 2025 start. This is a permanent, full-time position.

The Head Teacher seeks an ambitious Business & Economics Teacher / ECT eager to contribute to an expanding Secondary Department. The school is known for its supportive SLT and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

The school invests heavily in education, pioneering new teaching practices and providing training for staff. It's an exciting time at the school!

Experienced teachers can take on TLR roles such as KS3 Coordinator or Pastoral Responsibilities. Early Career Teachers (ECT) will participate in a bespoke ECT induction program and collaborate with both new and experienced secondary teachers.

Job Description

• Secondary Teacher / ECT

Person Specification

• UK QTS or in the process of obtaining
• Strong academic background: Degree, A Levels, GCSEs
• Meeting the 8 Teaching Standards at a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' level
• Ability to work well within a large team of teachers
• Willingness to receive feedback
