Richmond Jewish Day School is seeking educational innovators committed to providing high-quality instruction in grade K-7 in BC Curriculum. We have a position for a Spanish / Hebrew Teacher, Gr 5-7 (Level 2) starting September 2024 until the end of June 2025. This is a twelve blocks per week position (0.425 FTE).

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate professionalism in all job-related situations including interactions with students, parents, colleagues, and community members.
  • Build strong relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Design, implement and differentiate engaging lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Assess student performance using a variety of educational instruments.
  • Prepare periodic reports pertaining to student progress and instruction.
  • Maintain high expectations for student learning.
  • Communicate students’ needs to all stakeholders.
  • Manage classroom procedures through consistent, well-articulated expectations.
  • Promote a positive school environment that enhances student learning.
  • Maintain a positive and collaborative climate across grade levels.
  • Proactively participate in school community programs and events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education
