Job summary

Wolfcreek is seeking a full-time temporary replacement teacher to deliver engaging instruction in the Bright Futures Play Academy program and teach Grade 3 as a generalist. The role requires creating inclusive, differentiated lessons while building strong relationships with students and families.

The position follows a schedule with morning sessions on Monday/Wednesday, full days on Tuesday/Thursday, and afternoon sessions on Monday/Wednesday/Friday.

• Instructing in the Bright Futures Play Academy program and Grade 3 generalist


• Monday/Wednesday morning and Tuesday/Thursday full days in Bright Futures Play Academy


• Monday/Wednesday and Friday afternoons in Grade 3


• Duties to commence August 26, 2026 and will continue until January 4, 2026, with the possibility of extension

Qualifications:

• Experience teaching in Pre-Kindergarten and Elementary aged students would be considered an asset


• Ability to create an engaging, inclusive, and differentiated learning experience


• Ability to support diverse learners and adapt instruction to meet a variety of student needs


• Commitment to building positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues


• Commitment to student growth both socially and academically


• Commitment to ongoing professional growth


• Background in Literacy and Numeracy intervention would be considered an asset
