List of Requirements

Assumption School is seeking a teacher (0.8 FTE – 4 days/week) for the a maternity leave until September 2027.

Preference will be given to candidates who:

• Have a current pastoral reference that they are active in a Catholic parish, or demonstrate that they are willing to be respectful of the Catholic faith
• Have a certificate of qualification issued by the BC Ministry of Education
• Are committed to excellence in Catholic education
• Have experience differentiating instruction and working with students with a variety needs
• Demonstrate a positive and caring approach to students
• Show exceptional communication skills
• Demonstrate excellent teamwork abilities
• Demonstrate a willingness to provide extra-curricular opportunities for students
