Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of founders and early-stage companies as they progress from ideation and incorporation through commercialization and venture funding.
  • Develop trusted relationships with founders, CEOs, investors, accelerators, incubators, angel networks, and ecosystem partners.
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for clients requiring specialized banking solutions during the earliest stages of company development.
  • Identify and deliver tailored banking solutions that address clients' operational, regulatory, funding, and growth objectives.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of customer business models, capital structures, funding strategies, transaction flows, and growth plans.
  • Partner with Capital Solutions teams to identify working capital facilities, operating lines, venture debt, and other financing opportunities, where appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with venture capital firms, angel investors, accelerators, incubators, and other members of the innovation ecosystem.
  • Proactively identify high-potential companies within the Early-Stage portfolio and coordinate transition planning into TDIP Commercial Banking relationships.
  • Partner with Small Business Banking teams to proactively identify founders and companies demonstrating significant growth, funding activity, customer traction, or increasing banking complexity, and facilitate their transition into TDIP Commercial Banking relationships.
