Qualifications

Total Cost Productivity (TCP) Program Manager at Masco Canada (On-Site – St. Thomas, ON Office)

What You Will Do:

As theTCP Program Manager, the responsibility is to lead cost transformation and productivity (TCP) initiatives across Masco Canada through the implementation of lean principles and continuous improvement strategies. The position partners closely with business units, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams to drive sustainable process improvements and deliver measurable cost savings.

  • Partner with business leaders to identify and implement process improvements using lean tools (e.g., 5S, problem-solving, process mapping, TPM).
  • Lead the adoption of the Masco Operating System (MOS) through organization-wide deployment of lean methodologies.
  • Oversee all Masco Canada TCP projects, kaizen events, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage cross-functional Glass House Teams to drive productivity across Direct, Indirect, Freight, Lean, and VA/VE spend categories.
  • Set and cascade long-term (LRP) and short-term (AOP) TCP goals aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive "funnel fill" activities to maintain a robust project pipeline at 2X AOP budget for sustained impact and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with SLT and department heads to monitor TCP performance and activate projects to address performance gaps.
  • Facilitate training workshops and meetings on lean tools and TCP best practices.
  • Develop and implement policies and training programs that foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Coach team members and mentor Glass House participants in project management and change implementation.
  • Provide KPI and performance reporting to Senior Management, Finance, and TCP Steering Committees.
  • Contribute to strategic cost-reduction planning to ensure alignment and value delivery.

What Should You Bring:

  • University Degree or College Diploma in Business Management in Engineering
  • 7 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment
  • Project Management Certificate preferred
  • Experience in deploying lean tools such as 5S, process mapping, problem solving, TPM, and kaizen
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Self-starter and requires little supervision
  • Good leadership and consensus-building skills
  • Excellent analysis and decision-making ability
  • Experience using JDE and Smartsheet is an asset
  • Computer literacy is required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
