About the Role:

Our client, a leading mid-sized CPA firm based in Toronto, is seeking an intellectually curious, self-motivated, and experienced Tax Manager to join their growing tax practice. This is a hybrid position based in their Midtown Toronto office, offering exposure to complex client work and a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

As a Tax Manager, you’ll play a strategic role in delivering top-tier tax consulting, planning, and compliance services to a broad range of clients — including individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. You’ll also lead and mentor a team of professionals, driving operational excellence and fostering continuous development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage Canadian tax engagements involving compliance, planning, and reorganizations
• Advise clients on a wide range of tax matters with a focus on high-quality service delivery
• Mentor and lead junior team members, delegating tasks and providing regular feedback
• Review and prepare complex corporate, personal, trust, and partnership tax returns
• Monitor legislative updates and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
• Build and manage long-term client relationships as a trusted advisor

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:

• Canadian CPA Designation (in good standing)
• Enrolled in or completed the CPA In-Depth Tax Course
• 3+ years of current Canadian Tax experience at a CPA firm
• Demonstrated expertise in tax consulting, compliance, and reorganizations
• Prior team management experience in a public accounting environment
• Ability to work hybrid from Midtown Toronto
