I am currently searching for a Tax Director for an accounting firm located in the Snowdon neighborhood.

Your responsibilities :

• Review Canadian tax returns for corporations, individuals, partnerships, and trusts.
• Ensure all tax returns and data are thoroughly and consistently reviewed.
• Work closely with partners and managers on various files, including those involving complex tax structures.
• Identify tax compliance issues and develop tailored solutions for our clients' needs.
• Recognize planning opportunities and suggest recommendations to minimize tax exposure.
• Supervise and be accountable for the work of staff members.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Provide advice and training to other staff members.

Your profile :

• Over 5 years of relevant professional experience in Canadian tax within an accounting firm.
• Enrolled in or completed a Master's program in taxation or advanced CPA Canada taxation courses.
• Strong experience in interpreting and applying tax legislation.
• Proficient in tax research methods and databases.
• Ability to work flexible hours and meet required budgets.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with CaseWare and Taxprep is an asset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written, to communicate with bilingual clients.
