Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a professional accounting firm.
• Deep knowledge of Canadian corporate and personal taxes.
• CPA designation or equivalent (Canada).
• Understanding of ASPE accounting standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CCH iFirm.
• Strong organization and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent client service and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Manage a variety of engagements including compilations, reviews, and tax compliance.
• Collaborate with the team to provide insights on tax planning, compliance, accounting and general business advice.
• Review personal and corporate tax returns and related information returns and correspondence.
• Develop junior team members by coaching and instruction.
• Communicate engagement progress to Partners and manage engagement economics.
• Strengthen existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities.
• Ensure work meets PwC standards and is billed in a timely manner.
• Lead and mentor Managers, Senior Associates and Associates.
• Uphold PwC's standards and contribute to department continuity.
