Job summary

PwC Canada is seeking a Financial Reporting & Tax Compliance Senior Associate to join our Tax Line of Service. You will help clients with tax planning, compliance, and strategy while contributing to financial statement prep and tax provisions.

With 3 years in accounting and a CPA asset, you will work on compilations, reviews, and engagements, using Taxprep/iFirm and applying ASPE knowledge in Canada. We offer a competitive total rewards package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a mid-size accounting firm or public accounting.
• Bachelor's in accounting or related field; CPA is an asset.
• Hands-on experience with Taxprep or iFirm.
• Ability to prepare tax returns for corporations, trusts and partnerships.
• Strong client relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects including compilations, review engagements, and tax compliance engagements.
• Use feedback to develop self-awareness, personal strengths and address development areas.
• Delegate to others to provide stretch opportunities and coach them to deliver results.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems.
• Review your work and that of others for quality, accuracy and relevance.
