Job summary

Diageo is seeking a Tax Co-op for an 8-month contract in Canada, starting September 2026. You will work within the Canadian Tax team, handling indirect tax returns, assisting in audits, and supporting compliance projects.

Tax Co-op Note: This is a 8 month contract position within our Canadian Tax team, beginning in September 2026.

About the role

As a Tax Co-op your primary responsibilities will include preparing indirect tax returns, assisting in various tax audits, assisting in commodity and income tax compliance, monitoring and following up on pension payments, preparing journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations. In this position you will also assist the tax team with various projects and administration work. You will gain an understanding of how a Canadian Corporate Tax department works as well as acquiring experience working with the SAP General Ledger system and learning to navigate through various modules.
