Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join the expansion project team in Canada. Reporting to the Client's Area Construction Lead, you will be an early and core member of the construction team, supporting successful execution on site.

You will drive issue resolution, verify compliance with Work Method Statements, design specs and regulatory requirements, and push for flawless delivery from planning through Mechanical Completion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of progressive hands-on oil and gas construction experience, with supervisory/leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Rapid identification and resolution of construction issues impacting schedule or quality.
• Ensure construction activities comply with Work Method Statements, design specs, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Close coordination with the EPC contractor to anticipate risks and implement mitigation strategies early.
• Drive best-in-class construction practices to support safe and efficient execution.
• Produce daily activity reports documenting construction progress and issues in Tank and BOG areas.
• Support transition to Mechanical Completion and Commissioning by attending walkdowns and ensuring punch-list closure.
