Job description

Perched on the top floor of The Grizzly Paw Brewery in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, TANK310 Elevated Kitchen is where craft beer, refined food, and memorable guest experiences come together. Guests come for the beer, the food, and the best views in Canmore, but they come back for how it feels. We're looking for someone to help make sure that experience holds up each day. We're on the hunt for a strong, steady, hospitality-loving human to join the crew as Assistant Manager at TANK310. You’ll work alongside the Director of Brewery Hospitality — bringing 60+ years of experience in developing, coaching, and delivering exceptional guest experiences — while helping guide a team that shows up for each other, and are genuinely pleasant to be around. We've got a cool bunch of jokers to surround yourself with.

What will be on your plate?

If you land this role, you’ll be:

  • Leading the Front of House team and keeping service standards tight
  • Closing the restaurant
  • Jumping in wherever needed across different venues
  • Planning and executing events
  • Handling guest feedback
  • Supporting hiring, training, and developing the team
  • Working closely with other departments (there's a lot of action in this building)
  • Keeping operations smooth, organized, and aligned
  • Knowing the menu inside and out
  • Driving revenue through smart service and communication
  • Following all safety, health, and sanitation requirements
  • Keeping records clean and processes consistent
  • Considering the environmental impact of decisions (we love the mountains, we respect the mountains)
What do you bring to the table?
  • Proven leadership experience in a busy restaurant environment
  • Strong hospitality instincts and the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Someone who can multitask without melting
  • A natural problem-solver who doesn’t wait to be told what to do
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A team-first mindset with a strong sense of ownership
  • Current ProServe certification
  • Passion for craft beer and the hospitality industry
Bonus points if you have:
  • Experience with banquets or event planning
  • Entry-level Cicerone certification (beer nerds, we see you)
  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • A knack for balancing people, operations, and numbers
Physical reality check:
  • You’ll be on your feet alot
  • You might lift heavy things (beer kegs of course)
Why this role is worth it:
  • Work at one of Alberta’s original craft breweries
  • Competitive wage with earnings boosts in gratuities
  • Access to health benefits after just 6 months of tenure
  • Savor discounted staff meals(manager meals?)and exclusive F&B savings for you & your loved ones
  • Be part of a leadership team that actually supports each other
  • Mountain views… like, all the time
  • Opportunities to grow across locations and departments in the company
  • Exclusive access to Grizzly Paw sponsored community events including hockey games, run clubs/ultras, and beer festivals
  • Legendary staff parties (ask us about the Grizzly Paw Olympics)
