What Is the Opportunity?

Calgary Construction Operations is looking for Tandem Truck Drivers to support our 2026 construction season in Calgary, AB.

What You'll Do Here

• Safely operate a tandem truck to transport base materials and debris to designated locations.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation.
• Ensure loads are secure, properly distributed and compliant with weight and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, site supervisors, equipment operators, and crew members.
• Maintain cleanliness of truck cab and exterior; report mechanical issues promptly.
• Assist with general labour tasks on site when not hauling (as required).
• Work in coordination with paving, underground and concrete divisions to meet project schedules.

What You Bring To The Team

• Class 3 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to communicate with supervisors and co-workers in a courteous, professional manner at all times.
• Own vehicle to get to and from jobsite.
• Willing to work overtime, nightshifts and weekends, as required.
• Must comply with the company's drug & alcohol program, including testing requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
