Job summary

Alpine is seeking a Light Duty Cleaner to support facilities across our client sites in the Greater Toronto Area. You will perform a range of cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming environments for visitors and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in luxury hospitality, retail, customer service, or janitorial services is considered an asset.
• The eligibility and ability to obtain all applicable security clearance(s) is expected.
• Knowledge of WHMIS is not required but considered an asset.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various shifts is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Collect and remove used dishware, trays, and reusable service items from guest seating areas.
• Segregate waste materials at designated stations, separating recoverable items and organic matter from soiled service vessels and ensuring correct disposal arrangements.
• Perform continuous spot checks and removal of debris or litter from all floor surfaces within the public spaces and circulation zones.
• Clean, sanitize, and wipe down all guest seating surfaces, counters, and supporting fixtures and furniture to ensure readiness for the next user.
• Clean, disinfect, and sanitize high-touch and high-traffic areas to maintain a safe environment.
• Perform comprehensive floor care, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and spot cleaning.
• Clean and maintain all building common areas, including hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, elevators, escalators, and stairs
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables from waste bins on a regular basis.
• Complete cleaning, sanitizing, and deodorizing of all facilities, with a focus on washrooms and designated client spaces.
• Maintain and service client-specific spaces and complete other duties as directed.
