Job summary

Commissionaires Ottawa Group is looking for a Recruitment & Operations Coordinator to join our Kelowna team. This full-time role ensures we have the right staff to service our federal contracts and local sites, reporting to the Manager, Recruitment.

It is based out of the Kelowna office with a focus on recruitment and operations support. Salary is CA$53,000 per year plus extended health and dental benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume recruitment and administration is beneficial.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Customer service oriented with mediation and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Experience using ATS systems (JazzHR preferred).

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle recruitment including postings, screening, interviewing, references, offers and onboarding.
• Submit candidate criminal checks and security clearances.
• Manage new-hire training requirements.
• Represent Commissionaires at local recruitment events.
• Utilize JazzHR ATS and support BST courses.
• Coordinate uniforms/equipment inventory and distribution.
• Support scheduling, forecasting and workforce deployment for contracts.
• Assist client services with administrative duties including performance management.
