We are seeking an autonomous and results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist with 3–5 years of experience in the Toronto market to lead recruitment efforts in our Financial Services practice locally. This role focuses on recruiting top consulting talent to support client engagements across, but not limited to:
Capital Markets & Investment Banking
Regulatory & Compliance (AML, KYC, Basel, etc.)
Liquidity, Capital & Treasury Management
You will be part of the North America Talent Acquisition team, collaborating closely with colleagues across the region. As the only TA professional based in this office, you will manage the local hiring function independently while collaborating with global teams on cross-border recruitment strategies. You will also play a key role in the pre-sales of client opportunities, proactively identifying and securing qualified candidates in anticipation of client RFPs.
Key responsibilities
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process: sourcing, interviewing, interview scheduling, candidate management, offer/contract preparation, background check and onboarding.
Collaborating with partners and managing directors to proactively build talent pipelines for upcoming RFPs, and to support ongoing project needs.
Conduct strategic headhunting on LinkedIn Recruiter and market mapping to identify niche profiles aligned with client demands.
Collaborate with global recruitment and talent teams to share best practices, resources, and candidate pools.
Use tools such as SmartRecruiters, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing methods to identify, short-list and engage top talent.
Maintain an up-to-date and organized database of profiles for both active and future roles.
Contribute to improving recruitment operations, employer branding, and candidate experience.
Oversee general office coordination to support the on-site team’s operational needs.
Based in Toronto
3–5 years of experience in recruiting within the banking, consulting, or financial services sector.
Proven expertise in sourcing talent for technical or regulatory projects (e.g. AML/KYC, Basel, Data Analysis, Treasury).
Ability to operate independently and thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Excellent sourcing, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Familiarity with supporting or contributing to recruitment for RFPs or large-scale client proposals is a strong plus.
