About This Role

• Job Type: Full-time, Fixed-term contract
• Contract Duration: 12 months
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (1 day in Vancouver office, 4 days remote)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for our Vancouver and Austin offices.
• Recruit Software Developers (15-30), Software Architects (1-2), and Software Product Managers (1-2).
• Collaborate with our CTO (based in HK) and HR Directors (based in Austin and Toronto) on recruitment efforts.
• Handle daily recruitment activities: posting requisitions, sourcing and shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, role matching, background checks, and headhunting.
• Evaluate and improve talent acquisition processes, stay updated on market trends, and build a professional network for continuous improvement.
• Contribute to North American talent acquisition strategies and enhance employer branding.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on recruiting or headhunting experience in the IT/Software development industry.
• Proficiency with recruitment software and tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using metrics to inform decision-making.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in an unstructured environment.
• Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
