Position Summary

The People Experience team at Concert is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle recruitment and facilitate onboarding across the organization. In this role, you’ll partner with leaders to attract and hire great talent, delivering on a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

Because recruitment needs fluctuate throughout the year, this role will also provide opportunities to support broader HR administration as needed, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative and is eager to support where needed to deliver exceptional employee experience.

This is an 18-24-month, full-time contract position reporting to the Director, People Experience or their delegate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with hiring managers and leaders to understand current and future hiring needs, and develop recruitment strategies that support them
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment — from intake meetings through job posting, resume screening, interview coordination, and candidate selection — while coaching hiring managers along the way
  • Source qualified candidates through job platforms, networking, and industry events, and continually strengthen sourcing strategy to reach talent beyond traditional postings
  • Act as a strong brand ambassador, promoting the Company's employer brand throughout the candidate experience
  • Facilitate offer management and complete all pre-hire administration (e.g., reference and background checks)
  • Initiate new hires in the Company's HCM system, ensuring employee data is accurate and processed on time
  • Coordinate the onboarding experience, including new hire logistics, orientation sessions, and serving as the main point of contact for new employees and hiring managers through their first few months
  • Support and manage Co-op/Recruitment programs as needed
  • Create and improve recruitment processes, tools, and programs to keep them consistent, practical, and scalable
  • Track recruitment metrics and maintain the applicant tracking system and candidate database
  • Provide broader People Experience support, including program administration and department projects as needed
About You
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a recruiter, recruitment specialist, or in a similar talent acquisition role
  • Experience developing recruitment strategies that generate strong, qualified candidate pools for hiring managers
  • Strong understanding of social media and social recruitment tools, with the ability to develop creative sourcing strategies
  • Effective communicator, proactive in building strong partnerships with employees, hiring managers, and candidates
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with comfort learning new systems and technology
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, responsiveness, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, with a willingness to support the People Experience team wherever needed
  • Experience in other areas of Human Resources is an asset
  • Experience working with Dayforce is an asset

Please note this is a general description of the tasks and skills required. Additional responsibilities and duties may be required to successfully perform this role.

This role is based out of our Vancouver office and is eligible for hybrid work, with the expectation that in-person participation is maintained flexibly to meet business requirements.
