Job summary

Leavitt Industrial Group in British Columbia is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage end-to-end recruitment for a diverse North American portfolio. You will partner with hiring managers, source candidates across multiple channels, and guide processes from intake to offer.

The role is hybrid, based in British Columbia, with a focus on building robust candidate pipelines and delivering hiring goals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of proven full-cycle recruitment experience required.
  • Post-secondary degree strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success building and managing candidate pipelines for roles including technical and leadership positions.
  • Experience using recruitment systems and tools (ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, professional interaction with candidates and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with hiring managers and conduct intake meetings to understand needs.
  • Act as TA subject matter expert and trusted advisor to the business.
  • Source and attract qualified candidates through multiple channels.
  • Screen profiles, conduct interviews, and present candidates to hiring managers.
  • Manage candidate relationships through the recruitment process and extend offers.

The Opportunity

Leavitt Industrial Group is looking for a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Langley, British Columbia. As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment process for a substantial and diverse portfolio of roles across North America, contributing to the achievement of company-wide hiring goals and talent objectives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop relationships with hiring managers and conduct recruitment intake meetings to gain a thorough understanding of hiring needs
  • Act as a Talent Acquisition subject matter expert and trusted advisor to the business
  • Leverage multiple recruiting channels to source, attract, and secure qualified candidates
  • Effectively screen candidate profiles, conduct interviews, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers
  • Manage candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, providing updates, and presenting and closing offers
  • Follow internal recruitment processes and procedures and develop tailored recruitment and candidate sourcing strategies to achieve recruitment goals
  • Optimize use of internal recruiting tools and systems
  • Provide support to the Talent Acquisition team, fostering a positive team dynamic
  • Contribute to Talent Acquisition projects, programs, and initiatives
  • Act as an ambassador for Leavitt Industrial Group and successfully promote our employer brand
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum three years of proven full-cycle recruitment experience is required, preferably in a dynamic and high-growth work environment
  • Post-secondary degree strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated achievement in building and managing candidate pipelines for a range of niche and hard-to-fill roles, including corporate, technical, service-oriented, and leadership positions
  • Prior experience using recruitment systems and tools, including Applicant Tracking Systems and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Elevated verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with candidates and stakeholders in a professional and tactful manner
  • Strong relationship-building skills and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as a member of a collaborative team
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to career fairs and university recruitment events in Canada and the USA
  • A genuine interest and passion for Talent Acquisition and continuous improvement

The compensation range for this role is: $75,000 to $90,000 per year depending on experience, plus monthly performance bonuses.

This is a hybrid role based in British Columbia.
