We are currently hiring a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our team in Toronto. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for creating a great candidate experience, screening, interviewing, and selecting top talent for Spectrum Health Care. If you are a new graduate in HR, this position is for you!

Job Description

1. Manage active candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing a best-in-class candidate experience from first contact to onboarding.
2. Review resumes, conduct phone screens and interviews, perform reference checks, collect documentation, and coordinate orientation.
3. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships internally to understand current and future workforce needs.
4. Be an ambassador of our brand to enhance our employer brand strategy around hiring and retention.
5. Source both active and passive candidates to identify, connect, and recruit the best talent.

Qualifications

1. 1+ years of experience in a high-volume talent acquisition role.
2. In-office role in Toronto (Bloor/Yonge).
3. Experience with high-volume recruitment.
4. Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certification in Human Resources Management.
5. Previous experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
6. Strong screening and interviewing skills.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
