Job summary

Reliance Home Comfort is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Toronto to design and execute proactive recruitment strategies across multiple regions and roles. You will source both active and passive candidates via networking, referrals, social media, and direct outreach, and present shortlisted candidates to hiring leaders.

Responsibilities include screening, interviewing, collaborating with managers on workforce needs, and maintaining robust talent pipelines.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or equivalent combination of education and recruitment experience.
• 2-5 years of recruitment, talent acquisition, or sourcing experience.
• Experience recruiting in high-volume environments; skilled trades recruiting experience is an asset.
• Proven success managing multiple requisitions and meeting hiring targets.
• Strong sourcing skills, including the use of LinkedIn, Indeed, social media, and other recruitment tools.
• Knowledge of Boolean search techniques and talent-mapping strategies is an asset.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive hiring decisions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.

• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and provide consultative recruitment support and market insights.
• Create and maintain screening criteria, interview guides, and candidate evaluation frameworks.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Stay current on recruitment trends, labour market conditions, and innovative sourcing strategies.
• Track recruitment metrics, including sourcing effectiveness and time-to-fill, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Support employer branding initiatives, special projects, and other talent acquisition programs as required.
