Job summary

CCM Hockey is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage the full recruitment cycle for a diverse portfolio of roles in Montreal. You will partner with hiring managers to craft targeted recruitment strategies, write compelling job postings, and source candidates using modern tools and methods.

You will screen applicants, conduct interviews, negotiate offers, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience while maintaining strong candidate relationships and compliance with employment laws.

Qualifications

  • College diploma or university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of recruitment experience in a corporate setting, with focus on professionals and shared services roles.
  • Experience in full recruitment cycle.
  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques (Boolean search, social media, resume databases).
  • Experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS) such as Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS, or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in both French and English.
  • Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
  • Solid understanding of employment laws and standards applicable to recruitment.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered recruitment tools.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to define staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Write and post compelling job advertisements across appropriate platforms (job boards, social media, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Proactively source active and passive candidates using a range of search techniques and tools.
  • Screen applications, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate interviews with relevant teams.
  • Maintain diligent candidate follow-up throughout the process to ensure a high-quality candidate experience.
  • Negotiate job offers and coordinate the reference and background check process.
  • Keep the applicant tracking system (ATS) up to date and produce reports on recruitment metrics.
  • Participate in job fairs, networking events, and employer branding initiatives.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes and best practices.

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage the full recruitment cycle, from identifying staffing needs through to onboarding new hires. The successful candidate will play a key role in attracting, assessing, and selecting high-quality talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience that reflects our organizational culture.
