Job summary

Altasciences in Canada is seeking a Talent Acquisition Programs Specialist to coordinate and enhance TA programs across Canada and the United States. You will work with the Director of Talent Acquisition to strengthen employer branding, support candidate sourcing, and manage recruitment events and dashboards.

The role requires a Bachelor's in HR/Business/Marketing, 2-4 years in TA, bilingual English and French, plus strong project coordination.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, Marketing, or Communications.
  • 2–4 years experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment Operations.
  • Fluency in English and French required.
  • Experience with recruitment analytics and reporting is a plus.
  • Experience with Workday or HRIS is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internship, co-op, campus recruitment, employee referral and workforce pipeline programs.
  • Develop and improve TA processes, tools, systems and candidate experience initiatives.
  • Prepare recruiting dashboards, scorecards, reports and labor market analyses.
  • Coordinate candidate travel for onsite interviews (air, rail, hotel, transfers).
  • Maintain recruitment content on internal and external platforms.
  • Support recruitment marketing content and events; collaborate with Marketing.

About The Role

The Talent Acquisition Programs Specialist supports the coordination, enhancement, and execution of talent acquisition programs, initiatives, and processes that support Altasciences' recruitment strategy across Canada and the United States. This role partners closely with the Director, Talent Acquisition and the Talent Acquisition team to strengthen employer branding, support candidate attraction efforts, coordinate recruitment marketing activities and talent events, and provide data and insights that contribute to recruiting effectiveness. The incumbent serves as a key team support resource for Talent Acquisition programs and recruitment operations initiatives, helping ensure consistent execution, effective coordination, and a positive candidate experience while supporting the organization's workforce growth objectives.

What You'll Do
  • Coordinate enterprise talent acquisition programs, including internship, co-op, campus recruitment, employee referral, and workforce pipeline initiatives.
  • Support the implementation, ongoing enhancement, and continuous improvement of Talent Acquisition processes, tools, systems, and candidate experience initiatives.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements based on recruitment outcomes, industry best practices, and talent market insights.
  • Maintain inventory and distribution of recruitment marketing materials, promotional items, giveaways, and event resources.
  • Prepare recruiting dashboards, scorecards, reports, candidate pipeline summaries, and labor market analyses to support Talent Acquisition decision-making.
  • Coordinate candidate travel arrangements for onsite interviews, including airfare, rail transportation, hotel accommodation, ground transportation, and itinerary preparation.
  • Coordinate annual recruiting calendars, training sessions, presentations, and team initiatives.
  • Support recruiters by managing operational aspects of recruiting programs and projects, allowing them to focus on candidate and hiring manager engagement.
  • Maintain recruitment-related content on internal and external platforms, ensuring information remains current and consistent.
  • Support special projects and strategic talent acquisition initiatives as assigned.
  • Support the creation and updates of recruitment marketing content, including brochures, presentations, recruitment guides, social media content, digital assets, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure employer branding materials accurately reflect the Altasciences employee value proposition and corporate culture.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Communications teams to support recruitment campaigns and talent attraction initiatives.
  • Monitor employer branding trends and recommend innovative approaches to increase candidate engagement and market awareness.
  • Monitor job sites and employer review platforms for Altasciences feedback, identify trends, and share insights with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Coordinate Altasciences’ participation in job fairs, career events, campus activities, and networking events.
  • Manage event logistics, including registrations, materials, promotional items, travel arrangements, booth setup, and scheduling.
  • Develop event plans and participation schedules for Talent Acquisition team members.
  • Track event effectiveness and candidate conversion metrics.
  • Conduct research on talent market trends, competitor practices, and emerging recruitment strategies.
  • Participate in and support sourcing activities to help identify, engage, and develop candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Recruitment Operations, Employer Branding, Marketing, or a related field.
  • MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point, Canva and Workday Bilingual proficiency English and French required.
  • Experience coordinating projects, events, programs, or recruitment initiatives.
  • Experience developing reports and analyzing data is considered an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems or HRIS platforms (Workday experience considered an asset).
  • Ability to build effective relationships across departments and levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated creativity and attention to detail.
  • Relevant industry experience an asset.
