Job summary

TMX Group in Toronto, ON is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to drive end-to-end recruitment across multiple business units. You will attract, engage, and support teams in hiring top talent while collaborating with the global HR team on business-wide initiatives.

The role reports to the Head of Talent Acquisition and is hybrid (2–3 days in-office). A minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruitment experience and strong sourcing capabilities are required, with Experience using Workday HRIS

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience across multiple disciplines.
  • Strong sourcing expertise with proactive talent attraction strategies.
  • Excellent communication and consultation skills with internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to build credibility as a talent acquisition expert and leverage data for hiring decisions.
  • Proven negotiation and influence skills.
  • Adapt approach to meet business needs and collaborate with global TA/HR teams.
  • Experience partnering with global teams and driving process improvements.
  • Troubleshooting data integrity issues in HRIS to ensure efficient workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment across multiple functions and levels, from intake to onboarding.
  • Define sourcing strategies with hiring managers and articulate TMX’s value proposition.
  • Build diverse talent pipelines and use data dashboards to advise on market trends.

In this role, you will attract, engage, and support the team to hire top talent across our Business Units. In addition, you will also collaborate with the global HR team on business-wide initiatives, championing innovation as TMX continues to grow and evolve.

This role reports to: Head of Talent Acquisition

This role is hybrid (2-3 days/week in the office) - based in Toronto, ON

Key Accountabilities
  • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process across multiple business functions and across levels of seniority, from initial intake and recruitment strategy to offer negotiation and seamless onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define sourcing strategies, align on priorities, and articulate TMX’s value proposition to attract top-tier talent.
  • Proactively build diverse talent pipelines, leveraging data and dashboards to advise the business on market trends.
  • Deliver a seamless, high-touch recruitment journey, maintaining a focus on creating a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Contribute to cross-functional HR initiatives and business-wide projects, to ensure we are all succeeding together by contributing towards a positive, supportive and inspiring work environment.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, accountability, and efficiency throughout the recruitment cycle.
Skills - Must Have(s)
  • Minimum 3 years experience of full-cycle recruitment experience, either in-house or agency, hiring exceptional people across multiple disciplines.
  • Advanced expertise in sourcing, and creativity in utilizing proactive talent attraction and engagement strategies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to be valued as a business partner, providing guidance and consultation, building relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
  • Ability to build credibility, being seen as a specialist in talent acquisition, and leveraging data to drive hiring decisions.
  • Proven negotiation and influence skills.
  • Ability to adapt your approach to meet the needs of the business.
  • A collaborative approach to how you work with others within the global Talent Acquisition team, and broader HR team.
  • Experience using Workday HRIS, including the ability to troubleshoot issues to ensure data integrity and process efficiency for internal stakeholders.

Salary Range: 50/hour-55/hour CAD Please note that the salary range included is a guideline only. The salary offered may vary based on factors, including, but not limited to, the successful candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
