Job description

Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for partnering with HR and hiring managers and owning end-to-end recruitment delivery for hourly high-volume (skilled and semi-skilled) positions within a manufacturing environment. The role operates in alignment with corporate Centre of Excellence (COE) standards, tools, and governance, while maintaining full accountability for meeting local hiring demands. This role blends strategic partnership with hands-on execution.

Partnering closely with site and functional leadership, the Talent Acquisition Partner anticipates workforce needs and executes localized hiring strategies that reflect regional labour market conditions, including competition for skilled trades, and shift-based hiring. The role supports hiring across a broad spectrum of positions, including operators, assemblers, maintenance and trades, as well as salaried professionals in engineering, quality, supply chain, and plant leadership

As a Talent Acquisition partner focused on high volume hourly recruiting you will:
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for a wide range of roles in the production plant as well as overflow for salaried professional roles.
  • Lead the creation of recruiting plan for each assigned open Plant position – including advertising, sourcing and selection strategies.
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for high-volume hourly positions using job boards, social media, networking, employee referrals, and professional associations.
  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines to support ongoing and future hiring needs
  • Identify, attract, engage, and qualify potential candidates. Build talent networks within desired talent populations.
  • Conduct behavioral and competency-based interviews to assess candidate fit.
  • Manage high-volume recruitment while maintaining a strong focus on candidate experience and quality of hire
  • Partner with department leaders to understand role requirements, competencies, and team dynamics.
  • Manage the interview process to include scheduling, preparing questions and other materials, participating as an interviewer, facilitating feedback sessions, extending offers and coordinating on-boarding processes.
  • Establish controls and measurements to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance brand image among experienced and campus hires.
  • Establish and grow G&W recruitment networking through appropriate professional groups, associations, local community organizations and industry contacts.
  • Manage applicant tracking database, job boards, career sites and talent acquisition scorecard/metrics.
  • Assure compliance with all applicable federal, and local laws related to employment.
  • Support employee engagement and talent development activities as needed, with responsibility for developing self-directed learning content via Biz Library and communicating/marketing to the broader organization on a regular basis.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment metrics and candidate tracking through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Stay informed on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and recruitment best practices.
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives through proactive outreach and inclusive hiring practices.
We are looking for someone who:
  • 3-5 years of progressive full lifecycle recruiting experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or high-volume environment
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.).
  • Must demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality throughout all recruitment and employment processes.
  • Strong interviewing, assessment, and negotiation skills.
  • Well versed in social media recruiting methods.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to work closely with operations leaders in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to foster relationships with employees at all levels within the organization
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and hiring best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
What we offer you:

The pay range for this position is between $70,000-$90,000 annually.
