Job summary

High Tide Inc. in Calgary, AB is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator for a 3-month term to support the recruitment team. This entry-level role offers exposure to high-volume recruiting and onboarding activities in a fast-growing cannabis company.

You will provide admin support, assist with posting jobs, review resumes, schedule interviews, and help with reports and projects. The position is office-based and ideal for early career candidates eager to learn and contribute.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary Diploma in Human Resources or relevant discipline.
• CPHR designation preferred or in-progress.
• 1-2 years' experience in recruitment/talent acquisition coordination preferred.
• Strong confidentiality and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to recruitment and onboarding team members.
• Partner with Recruiters to sort resumes for active mandates.
• Assist with creating job postings and job specifications.
• Sort candidates by reviewing resumes and applications.
• Follow up with candidates re interview schedules.
• Assist with research, analysis and program/project reports.
• Support HR onboarding for new employees.

Overview

High Tide Inc.is looking for aTalent Acquisition Coordinatorforour corporate office inCalgary, AB for a temporary 3-month term.

The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties to support the Recruitment team and other HR members. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will report to the Retail Talent Acquisition Manager.

This role is ideal for an entry level Talent Acquisition Coordinator that is enthusiastic about recruitment and wants to learn in a high volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to members of the recruitment and onboarding team.
• Partner with Recruiters to sort resumes of candidates for active mandates.
• Provide administrative support for creating job postings, job specifications etc.
• Sorting candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications.
• Follow up with candidates to advise them on interview schedules.
• Assisting Recruitment team with research, analysis and implementation of programs, reports, and projects.
• Work with HR team to facilitate orientation and onboarding on new employees.
• Other dutiesshall be assigned as required.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary Diploma in Human Resources, or relevant discipline, required.
• CPHR designation preferred or CPHR candidate.
• 1 - 2 years' experience in a Recruitment/Talent Acquisition Coordinator role preferred.
• Strong relationship building skills and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Recruitment procedures ATS and practices.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Strong attention to details.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Resourceful and flexible.
• Proven organizational and time management skills.
