Job summary

High Tide Inc. is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator for our corporate office in Calgary, AB for a temporary 3-month term. The role supports the Recruitment team with a wide range of administrative duties in a high-volume environment.

The ideal candidate is entry-level with enthusiasm for recruitment, strong communication skills, and the ability to learn quickly within a fast-growing cannabis company.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary Diploma in Human Resources or relevant discipline.
• CPHR designation preferred or CPHR candidate.
• 1-2 years' experience in a Recruitment/Talent Acquisition Coordinator role preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Recruitment procedures, ATS and practices.
• Maintain confidentiality and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Resourceful and flexible with strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Recruiters to sort resumes of candidates for active mandates.
• Provide administrative support for creating job postings, job specifications etc.
• Sorting candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications.
• Follow up with candidates to advise them on interview schedules.
• Assisting Recruitment team with research, analysis and implementation of programs, reports, and projects.
• Work with HR team to facilitate orientation and onboarding on new employees.
• Other duties shall be assigned as required.

The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties to support the Recruitment team and other HR members. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will report to the Retail Talent Acquisition Manager.

This role is ideal for an entry level Talent Acquisition Coordinator that is enthusiastic about recruitment and wants to learn in a high volume environment.
