Job summary

Canadian Royalties Inc. in Montreal seeks a Talent Acquisition Advisor for a temporary long-term position to support recruitment across the organization.

Reporting to the President, you will design policies, manage interviews, coordinate with department supervisors, and promote the employer brand to attract top talent while ensuring a smooth candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations or equivalent.
• Experience with recruitment policies, procedures and job boards.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite and interview practices.
• Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with clients to define recruitment needs and advise managers.
• Oversee full recruitment cycle from needs analysis to offers.
• Forecast current and future staffing needs and write/update job descriptions.
• Post job offers internally and externally on the company site and social platforms.
• Organize CVs and route them to appropriate folders.
• Screen applications, interview candidates, coordinate tests and background checks, and negotiate offers.
• Promote the employer brand at external events.
• Track recruitment KPIs and report progress on mandates.
• Improve recruitment processes and suggest optimizations.
• Handle other related tasks as requested by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the President, this role involves contributing to the design and implementation of recruitment policies and managing the selection and hiring process for all of Canadian Royalties Inc.’s recruitment needs. The role also involves organizing interviews and coordinating with department supervisors. More specifically, the responsibilities include:

• Establish relationships of trust and accountability with clients, discuss their recruiting needs and work out requirements with them to fill vacancies. Support and advise managers and supervisors on recruitment policies and procedures.
• Manage the complete recruitment cycle:
• Identify the current and the future needs,
• Write, correct, and modify job descriptions as needed,
• Publish job offers internally and externally on the company's website, on social platforms, on other suitable websites and pages and act to explore other means of distribution.
• Transfer the CVs received by email to its appropriate folder.
• Analyze and screen applications, communicate with candidates, conduct interviews, administer the psychometric test, coordinate reference and background checks and, negotiate job offers, send hiring documents and coordinate onboarding new employees.
• Promote the employer brand and represent CRI at external events.
• Monitor performance indicators related to recruitment and provide a report on the progress of mandates.
• Optimize processes and procedures and suggest areas for improvement.
• Performs all other related tasks requested by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in talent acquisition in an agile environment;
• Experience in the mining field;
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations or equivalent;
• Excellent Ability to manager several files simultaneously;
• Excellent knowledge of interview practices, attraction, selection, and Job boards;
• Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite;
• French and English bilingualism (spoken and written);
• Someone resourceful, motivated, and passionate about people, recruiting, and good communication skills.
