Job summary

Boiling Point is expanding and seeking motivated candidates for a cook position in our Richmond location. The role focuses on preparing food items, ensuring quality, and maintaining a clean and efficient workstation to deliver an authentic Taiwanese dining experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a restaurant environment, preferably as a cook.
• Friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills.
• Able to multitask and work in a team environment.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by BP's gold standard.
• Know how to properly use and maintain all equipment in the station.
• Maintain all equipment and machines to prepare food and power on/off at opening/closing.
• Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
• Verify that prepared food meets BP requirements for quality.
• Maintain personal health and sanitation standards.
• Know all safety codes per BP's guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with BP's code of ethics, integrity and conduct.
