A leading mining company is seeking a Tailings Operator for its Bell Creek Mine in Ontario. Candidates will conduct inspections, manage maintenance of tailings facilities, and operate heavy machinery. Lake Shore Gold, a subsidiary of Pan American Silver, is located in Timmins, Ontario. The Bell Creek Complex, situated approximately 20 kilometers northeast of Timmins, consists of an underground mine and processing facility. Mineralization is associated with the Porcupine Destor fault system within the Abitibi greenstone belt, with ore mined using narrow vein longhole stoping methods. Ore is transported to surface via a modern shaft that is 1,080 meters deep, capable of handling 4,800 tonnes per day.

About the Opportunity
We are seeking to hire a Tailings Operator to join our Bell Creek Mine in Porcupine, ON on a full-time basis. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with 8-hour shifts.
Responsibilities include daily inspections of the tailings dam and dykes, pump houses, maintenance and repairs of tailings facilities, fusing, installation, and maintenance of tailings lines, site water distribution/discharge lines, and assisting with snow removal and road maintenance. Experience with dozers, excavators, and loaders is required; operating a grader and other heavy equipment is an asset.
This role requires relocation to the Timmins area; it is not a camp-based position.
