GardaWorld is seeking a Tactical Security Guard for a part-time role at a high-traffic location in Barrie, Ontario. The guard will patrol facilities, monitor access points, and document all actions while maintaining vigilance across shifts.

The position emphasizes readiness and effective communication with team members. Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada, hold a valid security license, and possess first aid certification.

• Patrol critical areas to spot suspicious activity.
• Check identification and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents.

What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths.

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc.

Schedule: Part-time, Saturdays (06:45 - 14:45) & Sundays (08:45 - 16:00)
