Job summary

Blackbird Security is hiring Tactical Security Guards in Red Deer, AB. This role requires patrolling premises, maintaining access control, and delivering excellent customer service to clients and patrons.

You will respond to emergencies, complete incident reports, and uphold high standards of professionalism and integrity. Ideal candidates have an AB Security License and prior retail security experience, with strong communication skills and the ability to work without close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Establish a strong security presence to deter crime and theft.

• Respond to emergencies and escalate to law enforcement as required.

What you will do

Establish a strong security presence to deter crime and theft

Provide excellent customer service to our clients, customers and patrons

Patrol the premises, provide access control and respond to emergency situations in an appropriate and timely manner

Perform safety and security duties with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity

Complete incident reports for security purposes

Respond to emergencies and escalat to law enforcement agencies as required

The Ideal Candidate

A Valid AB Security License

Previous security experience in a retail environment

Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.

Willingness to attend meetings and improve skills

Ability to work without close supervision

Willing to stand and patrol for the duration of the shift
