Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Tactical Security Guard in London, Ontario to protect people and property across varied environments, including retail stores, airports, and security facilities. The role emphasizes vigilance, rapid assessment, and decisive action to mitigate risks.

You will patrol, verify access, monitor alarms and CCTV, and coordinate with law enforcement as needed. Flexible full-time and part-time shifts support ongoing career growth with GardaWorld.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid Ontario security license.
• First aid certification is required.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Patrol critical areas to spot any suspicious activity.
• Check identification and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents.

What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths.

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc.
