Job summary

Softline Technology Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to lead testing efforts across large systems in GUI and non-GUI environments. The role performs test planning, scripting, and execution, collaborating with project teams to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include functional, integration, system and regression testing, plus developing automated tests and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines. Strong knowledge of QA tools and methodologies is required.

Qualifications

• Experience planning, organizing and implementing testing efforts in enterprise IT environments.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies and testing life cycle.
• Experience with automated testing tools and version control systems.
• Experience in functional, non-functional and system integration testing.
• Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps or similar.
• Proficiency in SQL and data validation for backend testing.
• Familiarity with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Knowledge of accessibility testing and regulatory requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops test plans, scripts and cases and executes them across components.
• Executes functional, integration, system and regression tests.
• Identifies and tracks defects using ALM, JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps.
• Develops automated test scripts with tools like Selenium, Postman, or UFT.
• Integrates automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Performs performance, stress and load testing to validate scalability.
• Collaborates with developers, business analysts and project managers to ensure quality.
• Maintains test results, coverage and quality metrics.
