Job summary
OpenText is hiring a Senior Quality Assurance Developer to analyze requirements, design and execute test cases, and lead performance testing across Trading Grid projects. You will drive automation, guide defect analysis, and collaborate with Product, Sales, and Delivery to deliver reliable software.
The role requires a strong background in automation and performance testing, plus experience with SDLC methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with 7+ years of QA experience.
- Expert in Automation testing (Selenium).
- Strong experience in Performance testing (JMeter).
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (Waterfall, Agile).
- Proficiency in programming languages (C, C++, Java, JavaScript, SQL).
- Able to write tools to optimize QA processes.
- MS Office applications; experience with SQL and JIRA.
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and design test strategies and estimates.
- Create and execute comprehensive test cases; document progress and results.
- Perform automation and performance tests; identify defects and root causes.
- Collaborate with Product, Dev, and Delivery teams to implement fixes.
- Prepare QA exit/hand-off documents and review test designs.
- Provide production-support and guidance on testing practices.
