Job description

We are looking for a Systems Engineering Analyst with broad system knowledge to join our team. This role involves requirements analysis, system architecture, integration testing, and customer collaboration to support the development of advanced defense technologies. The ideal candidate thrives in an environment of teamwork, solution development, mentoring junior colleagues, and enjoys complex technical work. Experience in the Airborne or Naval domain is highly desirable. In this role, your days may include:

1. Performing requirements analysis and definition for new and updated products
2. Generating complex technical documents such as Requirements Specifications, Design Documents, Interface Documents, Analysis Reports, and Test Plans/Procedures/Reports for Acoustic products
3. Conducting contract/customer requirements analysis and development, including traceability to system requirements and hardware/software tests
4. Defining and performing system architecture, design, interface trade studies, and technical performance measures for new and modified Acoustic products
5. Performing system integration testing, including test setup, configuration, execution, troubleshooting, and defect reporting
6. Defining, developing, and executing Qualification and Acceptance tests in the lab or at customer sites
7. Interacting with customers through discussions, technical presentations, reviews, and feedback addressing customer comments
8. Supporting proposal development by proposing requirements and design enhancements
9. Providing mentorship and leading junior team members
10. Analyzing new technologies and developing internal processes and tools

Qualifications :

• A science or engineering degree
• Approximately 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
• Enthusiastic, willing to learn new skills, and take ownership of work
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills, whether working independently, in a team, or as a leader
• Broad knowledge of the system development lifecycle and requirements management
• Background in basic electronic principles is an asset
• Experience with software and hardware engineering processes and tools
• Experience working in an avionics laboratory environment is an asset
• Ability to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment; eligibility to work in Canada as a citizen or permanent resident
