Who You Are:
  • You're the person people rely on when something goes beyond a basic IT issue
  • You enjoy getting to the root of a problem rather than simply applying a temporary fix
  • You're comfortable working across servers, systems, networks, applications, and users, and you know how to balance technical priorities with the needs of the business
  • You take ownership of the systems you manage
  • You're hands‑on, curious, and naturally inclined to ask: “How can we make this work better?”
Work Type
  • Location:Brampton, ON (Fully On-site – 5 days a week in office)

  • Maintain core network services including DNS and DHCP, and troubleshoot authentication and connectivity issues
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate provisioning, administration, monitoring, reporting, and other repetitive tasks
  • Support and troubleshoot VMware and/or Hyper‑V environments, including virtual machine deployment, configuration, maintenance, and performance
  • Monitor infrastructure, identify potential issues proactively, and respond to system alerts and performance concerns
  • Manage and troubleshoot backup and recovery processes, investigate backup failures, and participate in disaster recovery planning and testing
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and connectivity issues involving TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and related technologies
  • Provide escalation‑level support for complex systems and infrastructure issues
  • Support endpoint, hardware, and software deployments across the organization
  • Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, technology deployments, and other IT projects
  • Apply security best practices across systems, access, patching, configuration, and infrastructure management
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, system configurations, procedures, and operational runbooks
  • Work with technology vendors and internal stakeholders to investigate and resolve infrastructure issues
  • Identify opportunities to improve the reliability, security, performance, and efficiency of the IT environment
What We’re Looking For (Our Wishlist):
  • 3+ years of experience in Systems Administration or a closely related infrastructure role, with hands‑on responsibility for supporting production IT environments
  • Proven experience administering Windows Server environments, including configuration, patching, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance
  • Strong experience with Active Directory and Group Policy, including user and group administration, permissions, organizational units, and policy‑based configuration
  • Practical experience administering Microsoft 365, including user and license management, Exchange Online, identity and access, and troubleshooting core M365 services
  • Solid understanding of DNS and DHCP, with practical experience troubleshooting name resolution, addressing, authentication, and connectivity issues
  • Strong PowerShell skills, with experience developing and maintaining scripts to automate administration, provisioning, monitoring, reporting, and repetitive operational tasks
  • Hands‑on experience with VMware and/or Hyper‑V, including virtual machine provisioning, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Experience supporting backup and recovery environments, including monitoring backup jobs, investigating failures, performing restores, and contributing to disaster recovery processes
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, with experience troubleshooting TCP/IP, VPN, firewall, and infrastructure connectivity issues
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring and system maintenance, with the ability to identify and address performance, availability, and capacity issues proactively
  • Strong troubleshooting and root‑causal analysis skills, with the ability to investigate complex issues across multiple systems and drive them through to resolution
  • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure security practices, including access control, patch management, secure configuration, and system hardening
  • Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to maintain technical documentation and work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with Azure/AWS, Linux, SCCM, Ansible, or multi‑site infrastructure is considered an asset
