4FMV is looking for a System Analyst/Programmer for a client in Downtown Toronto on a permanent basis. Located just steps from Union Station, our client is a leader in their field and consistently recognized as one of Canada's Top 100 Employers. This is a hybrid role requiring you to be in the office 2 days per week.

Salary range is $98,000 - $108,000

You will be part of a collaborative team that develops, enhances, and maintains applications using a hybrid of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Your responsibilities include designing and developing software applications on Spring Boot, JBoss, and Java EE platforms.

You will coordinate efforts within and across teams through design and implementation, working in a fast-paced environment. You should be a self-starter, quick learner, able to meet tight deadlines, and possess good communication, results-oriented mindset, and problem-solving skills.

This position involves providing technical leadership to developers or a small team through design, development, implementation, delivery, and operational support of applications.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in systems development, with at least 3 years in Java/J2EE environments.
• Excellent J2EE skills related to JBoss containers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Angular knowledge and experience are a plus.
