Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced IT systems professional for a hybrid role based in Burnaby, Canada, with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote. The candidate will manage Windows and Linux environments, AWS services, and IaC deployments, ensuring high-availability and security across enterprise infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT experience with 4+ years in Windows/Linux system administration.
• 3+ years hands-on AWS systems administration or engineering.
• Expertise in Windows System Administration (AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with IaC tooling such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python).
• Knowledge of SLAs and OLAs.

Work Arrangement: 3 days hybrid Burnaby - 2 days remote

Must Haves

• 7+ years of IT experience, including 4+ years of system administration in Windows/Linux environments
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in AWS systems administration or engineering
• Expertise in Windows System Administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
• Proficiency with infrastructure technologies such as VMware, Cisco UCS, NetApp, and networking/security best practices
• Technical experience with AWS cloud services (ex. EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM) and Azure/O365 platform services (ex. Conditional Access, Identity Services)
• Experience implementing and managing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Strong scripting and automation skills with tools like PowerShell and Python
• Knowledge of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operating Level Agreements (OLAs)
