Job summary

Responsibilities

• Answering and directing incoming telephone calls to Brightshores hospitals.
• Perform paging services (overhead and Spok Messenger).
• Manage visitor information and assist with parking lot entry/exit gates.
• Respond to contingency codes and alarms; monitor alarms.
• Perform various clerical duties as assigned; support 24/7 shift coverage.

STATUS: PART-TIMEREASON TO POST: DIRECT REPLACEMENT

WAGE RATE: $25.900 - $27.915

Reporting to the Manager, Registration and Switchboard, the Switchboard Operator is responsible for answering and directing incoming telephone calls to the Brightshores hospitals. Duties include but are not limited to: all paging services (overhead and Spok Messenger); parking lot(s) entry and exit gates; visitor information. This position also responds to contingency codes and alarms, monitors alarms, and various clerical duties as assigned. This position is required to work all shifts 24/7.
