Job summary

Arctic Beverages Group of Companies seeks a Branch Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, mentor team members, monitor performance, and co-manage sales staff and merchandisers. This hands-on role requires strong attention to detail and proactive leadership.

You will drive efficiency, maintain safety standards, and collaborate across departments to ensure reliable distribution of beverages and essentials to communities across northern and remote regions.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience.

• Experience in warehouse and distribution operations incl. inventory control.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise warehouse operations including inventory control, logistics, and shipping.
• Monitor sales performance and collaborate with sales and merchandising teams to drive revenue.
• Develop and manage staff schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing workflow.
• Inspect equipment and ensure timely maintenance and readiness.
• Establish and monitor goals to ensure peak warehouse efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Design systems for product handling, storage, and distribution logistics.
• Promote a safe and healthy work environment per company standards.
• Provide delivery support to ensure on-time distribution of merchandise.
• Perform additional duties to support branch operations.

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring smooth workflow and operational efficiency. This role includes developing and mentoring team members, monitoring sales performance, and co-managing both sales staff and merchandisers. It is a hands‑on position that demands a strong attention to detail and a proactive leadership approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all warehouse operations including inventory control, logistics, shipping, space management, and customer service.
• Monitor sales performance and collaborate with sales and merchandising teams to drive revenue growth.
• Develop and manage staff schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing workflow and minimizing overtime.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools, ensuring timely maintenance and operational readiness.
• Establish and monitor operational goals to ensure peak warehouse efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Design and implement systems for product handling, storage, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
• Promote and enforce a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to company standards and safety protocols.
• Provide delivery support as needed to ensure merchandise is distributed accurately and on time.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support branch operations.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Proven ability to lead, train, and recruit staff effectively, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with experience operating a 5-ton truck; comfortable supporting delivery operations when needed.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to solving operational challenges.
• Solid understanding of supply chain and warehouse management principles, including inventory control and distribution logistics.
