Job summary

Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing is seeking a Swing Chef to support the Head Chef and kitchen team at Albreda Lodge, Blue River, BC. The role focuses on keeping the kitchen clean, managing staff meals, and coordinating the staff grocery program for the season.

You will design staff lunch and dinner menus with the Head Chef and ensure high standards for guest meals while complying with health and safety regulations. This seasonal, full-time position includes meals and staff housing.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience as line cook, chef de partie or equivalent positions.
• Experience in recreation lodges.
• FOODSAFE Level 1, WHMIS and Occupational first aid certificates.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest level of quality fresh nutritious meals for guests and staff.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and the outer areas.
• Check incoming food storage and rotate stock.
• Assist in menu planning and staff meals.
• Coordinate staff grocery program and after-ski snacks.
