Job summary

TAC Aquatics in Toronto is seeking a part-time Swim Instructor for evening and weekend programs. You will deliver safe, engaging lessons, teach swimming techniques, and provide feedback to help children aged 3.5-16 develop confidence and safety in the water.

Qualifications include Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor Certification and National Lifeguard Certification. This role offers competitive pay and opportunities for mentorship within TAC Aquatics.

Qualifications

• Certification as Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor required.
• National Lifeguard Certification required.
• Lifesaving Instructor or Examiner certification preferred.
• Emergency or Standard First Aid Instructor certification preferred.
• Instructor Trainer designation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, engaging swim lessons using Lifesaving Society programs.
• Teach and demonstrate swimming skills and techniques.
• Provide clear feedback and corrections to support swimmer development.
• Maintain a fun, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Communicate professionally with swimmers, families, and staff.
